Welcome to xl2neo.ecoflight.net

The XL2neo STC by George Aviation of Baker, FL is the result of a joint-venture with EcoFlight.net training.

The STC will modify an IOF-240-B5B equipped Liberty / Discovery Aviation XL-2 tourer and trainer aircraft to free it from any dependency on the Continental Motors deprecated PowerLink FADEC system.
The core engine's remaining potential is retained up to the original TBO.

It replaces all FADEC components with a traditional ignition system (magnetos and harness), an injected fuel system (injectors, mixture lever, engine instrumentation) and a modification of the engine mount to create space for mags.

The XL2neo has taken, under an experimental / market survey airworthiness certificate,
its first flight on March 15th 2024 after a year of engineering work.

.The current flight test program aims to generate the data necessary for STC approval. No release date or pricing are announced at this time, and limited resources are available to answer individual questions.
